Students in costuming class are taught basic sewing techniques of repair, alteration, and construction as they pertain to costuming for the stage. Students construct a basic garment (pajama pants) including pattern reading, layout, cutting, sewing and finishing. Students are responsible for helping with costuming for school plays and assisting actors during evening performances.
