The Music Department at Manatee School For the Arts thrives on providing a personalized learning environment to foster meaningful cultural experiences in the performance, understanding, discipline and art of music. Labeled Building #3, The Music Department includes large Choir and Band rooms, a tiered Orchestra room, two tiered Silent Guitar labs, a keyboard lab and a recording studio. Our staff are currently professional musicians, recording artists, authors and clinicians with many years of experience.
Courses for students include General Music, History of Rock n’ Roll, Band, Jazz Band, Percussion, Orchestra, Chorus, Select Chorus, Guitar, Electric Guitar, Commercial Music and Keyboard. Our students have performed all around the state and beyond.
