Music enriches our lives in countless ways, and in General Music students will gain an understanding of why: from the language of creating music, to learning about different musical styles and genres, to actually performing music ourselves! Students can expect to learn the fundamentals of reading notes and rhythms, basic keyboard skills, rhythm techniques, music history, and more. Most of all students can expect to gain an appreciation for the creation and expression of music and be ready to take it to the next level, wherever that may lead them – band, orchestra, choir, guitar, keyboard… It’s all possible at MSA!
