| Students analyzed textbook material to discover
the trompe-l’ oeil style of art created by such famous artists as Pere
Borrell del Caso in 1874 and his famous artwork titled “Escaping Criticism”.
Objectives were prioritized to emphasize the artist’s intent and samples
of artwork provided background information from which the students could
draw experiences and work. The students then created their own computer
generated version of a trompe-l’ oeil which reflected a piece of artwork
that had special meaning to them. |
